Again: Madrid ready to Seal to €70million transfer to hijack Barcelona deal
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to consider hijacking
Barcelona’s deal to seal the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien
Rabiot.
The Spanish giants lost Mateo Kovacic to Chelsea this summer so
could do with more bodies in that area of the pitch, especially with Luka
Modric not getting any younger.
Rabiot has shown himself to be a top talent at PSG, though Real
Madrid are now on alert for him and could rival Barcelona for him as he refuses
to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, according to Don Balon.
The Frenchman could certainly be a fine signing for any top
club, and luckily La Liga sides have until the end of the month to sign
players, even if the window is now closed for Premier League and Serie A clubs.
We have also previously linked Rabiot with Real Madrid in
a potential €70million transfer, which seems a fair price for one of
Europe’s top young midfield players.
It will be interesting to
see how this one pans out in the coming days, though some Los Blancos fans will
no doubt be hoping their club focuses on signing attacking players instead
after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
