Most Seen: Finally Willian says where he will be next season
Willian has found himself the subject of plenty of speculation in the summer
transfer window. After an impressive World Cup, a host of top clubs have been
linked with a move for the 29-year-old Brazilian.
A move to Barcelona was thought to be on the cards, before
the Catalan giants signed Malcom, while Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on
a reunion with the Chelsea man at Old Trafford. Unfortunately for the
Manchester United boss, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is not making funds
available and most recently, it was suggested that Real Madrid were in
contention to land the attacker.
Willian has largely kept his head down throughout the speculation, enjoying his holiday after a long season, but he has now discussed his future.
Speaking to Brazilian TV show Esporte Espetacular, he
revealed his plans to return to ‘his club’ and when pushed on which club that
was, he said: ‘I’m back to England. ‘I’m very happy at Chelsea. I’m very happy
living in London.’
