OMG: See the Premier League Star Messi Urge Barc to swoop for €150M
Lionel Messi is reportedly urging Barcelona to
make a move for Man United and France superstar Paul Pogba this summer.
This is according to Diario Gol, who are noting that boss Ernesto Valverde
also wants Barca to sign the World Cup winner, and that the Spanish giants are
set turn their attentions to Pogba is Adrien Rabiot ends up agreeing a new deal
with PSG.
Don
Balon have reported in the past that the Red Devils are going
to ask for €150M if they are to see Pogba leave the club, a price that may be
worth paying going by the potential and ability the player has in his locker.
Pogba showed the world what he was all about
at the World Cup with France this summer, as the midfielder ended up proving to
be one of Les Bleus’ most influential players as they won their second ever
world title.
The Man United star performed excellently
in every match he played in, as well as bagging himself a goal in the final
that helped his side romp to a 4-2 victory over Croatia.
For Man United, however, Pogba has failed to
have a similar impact, with the Frenchman struggling to put in consistent
displays for Jose Mourinho’s side since his arrival in 2016.
If Barca do somehow manage to pull off the
signing of Pogba, it’ll be a massive coup for the Blaugrana if the player can
pull off the types of performances he showed in Russia this summer.
