Romelu Lukaku was named PFA Player of the Month - winning the vote by a landslide margin
Romelu Lukaku has been crowned PFA player of the month - with more votes than the rest of the Premier League combined. The Belgian’s stunning start to his Manchester United career saw him claim 53.7 percent of votes in the fan poll.
His closest rival was Harry Kane, who took 15.8 percent.

Romelu Lukaku - 53.7
Harry Kane - 15.8
Alvaro Morata – 15.6
Kevin De Bruyne – 7.6
Sergio Aguero – 5.1
David Silva – 2.2

It is resounding acknowledgement of Lukaku’s incredible form in the opening two months of the campaign, following his £75m move from Everton.
The 24-year-old has scored 11 goals in 10 games for United - 15 in 12 including internationals.
And his votes drawfed those received by Sergio Aguero, whose record of seven goals in eight appearances, only earned him 5.1 percent.
Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata picked up 15.7 percent.
Lukaku won the vote by a landslide
Lukaku has spearheaded United’s undefeated start to the season, which sees them top the Premier League, level on points with Manchester City.
And Jose Mourinho has hailed his No9’s impact.
“I think every step in his career he grabbed the opportunity with both hands,” said the United manager. “It was always his dream to come to this level and since he arrived I don’t think he thinks about another thing than in his success so he works hard, he rests, he has a great professional life outside the football pitch.”
