Neymar pulls a boxing pose in training, several days before his incident with Semedo
Neymar appeared
to storm out of a Barcelona training
session on Thursday after an altercation with team-mate Nelson Semedo.
where Barcelona are preparing to face Real Madrid on
Sunday morning, shows a scuffle between Neymar and
Semedo.
Several members of the
Barcelona team rush towards the fracas, with Sergio Busquets
holding Neymar back when he attempted to return to Semedo after the pair
were separated.
With the two players
at a distance, the Brazilian forward throws down his bib to the floor and
angrily kicks out at a nearby ball.
The striker then looks
to leave the training pitch.
Speculation has grown
in the past week that the Brazilian will not be with Barcelona next season,
with Paris Saint-Germain thought to have met a £200-plus release fee.
There have been
reports that Neymar is unhappy at the Camp Nou, although he has distanced himself from them, insisting he was pleased with his
season and settled in Barcelona.
"It was the
season where I felt more comfortable, even though we did not win the titles we
would have wanted," he said.
"We played great
games and lived incredible moments. Now, we need to work for the 2017-18 season
so it will be even more positive individually and as a group."
Barcelona president
Josep Maria Bartomeu has indicated that Neymar's future remains in his own
hands.
"Neymar is one of
our best players and we do not want to lose him," Bartomeu told the New
York Times.
"We want him to
continue with us, he still has four years left, but the players decide if they
want to go so there's nothing more to say."
Portuguese right-back Semedo is a recent
arrival at Barcelona, signing from Sevilla for a fee of around £27m this month.
